Illinois Children's Authors and Illustrators Book Fair

A crowd of fifty people welcomed seven children’s authors and illustrators to the Youth Services Department to celebrate the joy of reading. Guest authors Ilene Cooper, Carolyn Crimi, Esther Hershenhorn, Laurie Lawlor, Kevin Luthardt, Jude Mandell, and Susan Van Dusen read from their books and talked about what it’s like to be a writer.
