RSS feeds on the Skokie Public Library website
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a subscription that notifies you when new content is posted on a website. RSS feeds can be collected, organized, and browsed in a newsreader (also called an aggregator or RSS reader). The newsreader automatically updates your RSS subscriptions so that you can read the headlines all in once place, at your convenience. Two popular and easy-to-use readers are Bloglines and Google Reader.

Skokie Public Library publishes many RSS feeds to announce upcoming programs and events and newly added materials. To subscribe to a feed, click on the
icon (a standard symbol for RSS). A new window will open, and you can add the feed to your favorite Web-based newsreader.
